Lo scorso 14 gennaio all’età di 59 anni, si spegneva in un ospedale di Philadelphia uno degli ultimi grandi interpreti della musica soul americana. Teddy Pendergrass era stato negli anni ‘70 il cantante del gruppo Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes per poi intraprendere una lunga e fruttuosa carriera solista nel 1977. Questa bella antologia raccoglie tutti i singoli del cantante nero incluse alcune rarità del suo repertorio su elektra.
